Lab Introduction
The Signal and Intelligent Computing 528 Laboratory is dedicated to research in Multimedia Computing and Signal Processing. Our work focuses on various key areas, including high dynamic range (HDR) image processing, 360-degree image processing, point cloud processing and compression, as well as other related signal processing technologies.
In HDR image processing, we aim to enhance the dynamic range of images to achieve more realistic visual experiences. In 360-degree image processing, we explore techniques for capturing and processing panoramic visual data, supporting applications in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). Additionally, our research on point cloud processing and compression addresses the challenges of large-scale 3D data handling.
Our mission is to drive innovation in multimedia and signal processing, providing cutting-edge solutions to the digital media challenges faced by society and industry today. With a strong commitment to technological advancements, our team strives to develop pioneering techniques that contribute to both scientific research and industrial applications.
